Postage will be added to the final payment and this will depend upon the size of the painting - I will let you know on completion how much that will be. I will send you a copy of your completed painting when requesting the final payment and upon receipt of a cleared cheque the painting will be posted to you by next day delivery.

The average time taken for a painting is between 4 to 10 weeks from agreed start. Please allow enough time for me to paint the portrait - and of course it depends upon how busy I am - but I will do all I can to assist in this respect.
Pets - I paint a portrait of the head and shoulders of your pet so it is important that the photo you provide is clear and precise. The best photos are taken in daylight (as flash photography distorts colour and animals, in general, do not like the flash). The sun should be behind the person taking the photo and it should be taken at the same height as the subject. It would help if you had a person next to you holding a favourite toy on your shoulder, so giving a slight angle rather than face on. If the photo is to be taken indoors then it should be by a window, with the window behind you, in the same way as above. It is good to take a few photos to send to me for clarity.
Landscapes and Sunsets - please let me have a few photos (if possible) of the subject and they should be as clear as possible.

As stated above I require a 50% deposit in the form of a cleared cheque before commencing any painting and the balance
(plus postage) upon completion prior to sending you the completed painting.

I am unable to refund paintings that are personally and specifically designed for a customer. I will let you have a copy of the finished painting and if there are any slight alterations to carry out before sending it I can carry these out for you.
In the unlikely event that your portrait gets damaged in the post please report it to the post office immediately.
Please retain all packaging and also let me know so we can agree the best solution.
